As part of my time at Reach Agency, I had the opportunity to work with the team at Hot Pockets on their campaign, POCKETS 4 BITS: GAMER SNACKS LEVEL UP. Working collaboratively with the team at Hot Pockets and a third-party vendor called PopWallet, we created a strategic influencer marketing campaign with compelling design elements that resulted in unprecedented success. The project was particularly meaningful to me as Hot Pockets were a favorite snack of mine as a child.

The campaign has been recognized through numerous awards, including winning a Reggie in Promotion Marketing, being a Shorty Awards Finalist in the emerging platform, food & beverage, multi-platform campaign, and being a 1st round shortlist at The One Show for Best Multiplatform Influencer Campaign.

Through the use of digital coupons facilitated by PopWallet, the campaign was able to exceed expectations, selling nearly 12 million Bits, with sponsored streams garnering an impressive total watch time of 1,015,000 hours. Benchmarks were exceeded, with a conversion rate of 36% of actual sales, which was 6 times higher than the average couponing program the brand had previously run.

As a designer on the project, I was proud to be a part of the team that helped establish and execute the campaign’s design language, resulting in its success. It was incredibly rewarding to see how successful the campaign was, with Hot Pockets selling 4.5 million Bits in under 48 hours, and the campaign going viral on Gamer Twitter within a week. The popularity of the campaign even led to a copycat fan site being created, which further promoted the program’s offering.

Overall, this was a highly successful project that demonstrated the power of strategic influencer marketing and compelling design. I am proud to have been a part of the team that helped make it happen, and the experience was invaluable in developing my skills as a designer
